auto completion

In outlook 2002/2003, there is a auto-completion
where you can type a name and suggest
names while completing To, CC, etc.

Since this is coming from a cache and it only
gets it from email addresses that were sent in past,
is there a way to point this auto completion to
Exchange GAL so it only pulls the name from the
exchange GAL instead?

Thanks

No, but you can fill it with up to 1,000 of the addresses you want, if you
also have an offline GAL (it only holds 1,000 entries). Click Work Offline.
Now open a new message window and click the To button. Select the first
name in the GAL, scroll down to the bottom and, with the Shift key pressed,
select the last name in the GAL. This should select all the names in the
GAL. Click the To button at the bottom. Now you should be back at your
compose window. Send it. It should go to your Outbox with all the names
resolved. It is this process of resolving the names that stores them in the
autocompletion cache. Open the Outbox and delete the message. Click File
and uncheck Work Offline. Your name cache should contain all the names in
the GAL now.
