My brother claims on his old computer with Outlook 2000 when you started
typing an email address a drop down list would appear wth a list of previous
email addresses used and you could select which one you wanted instead of
having to type the whole email add.
On his new computer he said that drop down list doesn't appear.
Operating system WIN XP.
I do not use Outlook and am unfamiliar with it.

How can he turn that autofill feature on??

Thank you
George A.

So which version of Outlook is he using on his new computer?
Note that the addresses indeed only show up when you have used them before.
On a new computer this cache starts blank of course.

Also, for the record Outlook 2000 never had this feature. It began with
Outlook 2002.
