Auto Complete Dates

Hello

I was wondering how you control the way Word (both 97 and 2003) auto
completes dates. It only suggests todays date which is fine but the format
of the date varies from machine to machine (even though I am sure regional
settings for dates are the same).

Does anyone know where the behaviour of this auto correct is governed?

Go to Insert > Date & Time > just the date type you want and click Default >
ok.
