Authenticity Key Code

My mother-in-laws computer crashed...I think it was a
virus...and I had to re-format the hard-drive and reload
all programs...when I loaded Microsoft suite 2003, I
skipped the authenticity code thing (?) and continued to
install...today someone tried to use Microsoft Word, and
it asked for the authenticity key code...it put in several
times (after double and triple checking the back of the
computer for the corect code)and it still "comes-up" this
is the wrong code (or something like that)...any ideas?

You inserted in Product Key for Windows XP, not Microsoft Works.
You need to find the packing for Microsoft Works and use the proper
Product Key.
