Outstanding find Steve! Thatnks for this link to a good source of
information for those interested in the guts of malware. I always wondered
why my machines stay out of trouble - no p2p software seems to be part of
that answer.

It's not necessarily p2p that is the problem, it is the infected
executable file that may be posing as something else (ie, as a
self-decompressing .exe), plus that people are still blindly running
any .exe file that they come across. This is nothing new.

Yes, I understand that - guns don't kill people, people kill people. My
comment was to the effect that we have one less portal to disasater
available to the users.
