You could try PUMA (Printer Usage Monitoring Application) - see
http://www.merrioncomputing.com/Puma/puma_overview.htm

Or - if you have custom needs and a .NET developer you could use the
PrinterQueueWatch.NET component to write your own custom tool.

Hope this helps,

FYI, CyberPrinter 1.5 costs $70.00 and Alagus Print Admin costs $239.00
(Both cheaper than PUMA though...)

Well I don't think that $239 is too much for Alagus Print Admin 2.0. I
have tried it and this software completely solved my problems with all
the 14 printers in my firm.
Nevertheless I tried Print Logger and some other stuff but it's just
not the same. Three days ago I bought Alagus Print Admin - standard
edition and I can't wait to see the professional version.

Alagus Print Admin seems does not allow us to customize to our needs in .NET environment. Am I right? It is a program by itself.

My needs are such that I need to develop some customized program in C#.NET environment, for printing purposes, like extract information about number of pages printout, which username, if there is paper jam, if the toner is low, if the paper is not there, etc.

Can I suppose PUMA is more suitable for my needs, since it comes with .NET component? What is the price of PUMA?
