I've got a Dell 4400 running Windows 200 Pro. The audio
playback for all sounds or music is very fast. Kind of
sounds like "chipmonks". Is there something I need to
install or set up in order to fix this problem? I'm also
using Windows Media Player 9.0.

Hi,

Try downloading & installing the latest driver for your audio from Dell. The
problem you describe is often encountered with onboard "AC'97" type audio
solutions, and is caused by an incompatibility with the built-in Windows
2000 driver.
