If anyone replies...thank you
This what I want to do
I have a laptop that is connect to my network via wireless. I can currently connect to my desktop using remote deskop
I want to be able to play some music on the remotre desktops speakers.
I treid using Remote Assistance so I could just control the desktop but it is not working. It gives me an error that it can not connect because of network issues. I am using a microsoft router. Do I need to turn down my firewall settings?

Did you configure Remote Desktop to play audio from the remote PC on the local PC? Open the Remote
Desktop connectoid and go to "Options -> Local Resources -> Remote computer sound" and configure as
needed. Note that because of a bug in XP some folks report that you need to start audio on the
remote PC then make the Remote Desktop connection.
