I am not sure why my sound is not working, it was working
fine the other day before I formatted the drive and
reinstalled windows xp pro on it. The first I installed xp
I had this promblem to but it was fixed by going into
windows device manager and finding any problems then
updating the driver then it worked. but now when I tried
it again after the format and I get an error, There was a
problem installing this hardware: "Multimedia Audio
Controller" An error during the installation of the
device The data is invalid. what does this mean and how
can I fix it the type of sound card I have is Sound Blast
Live. there are some scuffs on the cd and a light scratch
on it does not seem to be a promblem but could that
because a sound driver from being installed?
