Greetings All!

Does anyone know of link to a freeware for converting the .ra Real Player
audio files to WMA or MP3 etc?

OK, now the only problem is what I am trying to convert to eventually burn to CD is 90 minutes extending the 80 min. allotment on CD's, so now I guess my next question would be- Is there a way to compress them to make them fit onto an 80 minute disk?

Thanks for your reply!

To my knowledge 70 minutes is standard on audio CDs. These use uncompressed
sound, WAV-files that get renamed to CDA.

If you use MP3, as you intend, you may have 10 hours on a CD (even more,
depending on your compression settings), but you won't be able to play that
on a standard CD-player.

I don't know about WMA.

I have already converted them to MP3 with the Streambox Ripper and they are
still too big to fit on CD and I figured, just like you said, that if I
change the conversion setttings they will not be playable on a standard CD
player wich I intend for them, so I guess I am just going to have to record
them to 90 minute cassettes as suspected.

Thanks again for all your help!
