audio controller

Been searching high and lows for hours for this missing controller in my DM
under other devices-Multimedia Audio controller.
On boot up, I have this ' 62-0603-001131-00101111-040201-VIA-K7-M825VXX".

The mobo has a sticker 'MS8158EC", "heat sink" of 'MATSONIC' and a chip with
"VIA VT8235 0424CD, 23A37J0300" .

I have downloaded various drivers from various websites but non seems to be
the correct one. Can someone point the correct one, TIA

This generally has to do with AC'97 Audio, start there and good luck!

Many thanks for the response. The matsonic link, the download at 5kb/s and
after a while give a message ' the server been reset'.
Anywhere I have managed to resolve the issue by dl AC'97 , Thanks
