OK, copy the lame_enc.dll file into this folder as well as the Audacity
folder :

c:\windows\system32(DONE)

Does that work ? You have two possibilities of where to put the file. If
you have it in both folders it should work.(LAME IS IN BOTH PLACES)

Open up your wav file in Audacity > Edit > Select > All > then File >
Export Selection > you should then have the option to select mp3's in a
drop down box "Save as File Type" >WHEN I CLICK EXPORT SELECTION AS MP3 WE
GO TO A BOX TITLED"SAVE MP3 AS:"FILE NAME IN BOX BELOW SAYS"PLEASE BE
KIND.MP3".THEN I CLICK SAVE AND THE AUDACITY RESPONSE IS ABOUT THE LAME
THING AGAIN AND A SENTENCE ASKS ME IF I WANT TO LOCATE "lame_enc.dll"..I
CLICK YES AND GOES TO BOX THAT IS TITLED"WHERE IS THE LAME_ENC.DLL"..FILE
NAME BELOW SAYS "lame_enc.dll"..I CLICK OPEN AND AUDACITY SAYS"COULD NOT
OPEN MPE3 LIBRARY.. Click the button Options to change the bit rate
OK and it should convert to mp3 files.
Also try : Edit > Preferences > Audio Files > then in the MP3 Export
Library Location use the Browse button to point Audacity to either of the
two mentionned above. Did that work ?EDIT,PREFERENCES DOES NOT SHOW AUDIO
ON MY VERSION 1.2.6..ALSO HOW DO I POINT TO AUDACITY?..

I thought you already had installed the Beta version ? I seem to remember
recommending it to you many moons ago. Yes its stable, been using it since
it came out. The instructions above are for the beta version.
