atvpbaen.xla

When I open a workbook I've created, under Edit links, I see this file
mentioned. I cannot break this link (it is hushed) and don't know what it
is - possibly due to a visual basic thing? Can someone help?

Thanks

Actually, if I may update my own question, when I click on open source
(after edit links), it makes my functions installed via add-ins analysis
tool pak stop working. I use this function in almost every spreadsheet i
do, and have not had the atvpbaen show up as a link before. What is
happening?

This is VBA's version of the analysis toolpak.

Excel's version of the analysis toolpak is called: Funcres.xla

Contained in these addins are functions like Networkdays/workdays/and a bunch of
others.

If the developer (you??) had a need to use one of these functions, they could
have set a reference to it. Tools|references (with the VBE).

If you're not sure what it's used for, I'd talk to the developer (or just leave
it alone <bg>).

Do you have a macro calling it. It is the Analysis ToolPak for VBA
Tools>add-ins.

No, I do not. I just unchecked the VBA add-ins box and noticed that, with
it unchecked, I actually get the update nw message when i re-opened the
file, whihc is even more annoying. However, when i then reset the checkbox
and reopened, the "break link" choice was no longer hushed, so I broke it
and now all seems fine. That said, I'm still curious how this problem
occurred. I have no macros.
