Attn group : 9500 Pro?

I've been in contact with someone who is selling a 9500 Pro. The
pictures that he posted for me clearly show L shaped ram instead of
the usual I shape, he says that these are pictures that he took of his
vcard. He states that Windows XP shows 9500 pro, Belarc software
shows 9500 pro. Did ATI manufacture any 9500 Pro's using the 9700 pcb?
Any help is appreciated...... P/N is 1029421933 S/N is 230318000875
I don't know if that helps.

I heard at one time the 9500 Pro is a crippled 9700 Pro.
Anyone have more info on this ?

I've heard that the 9500 Pro with the Red PCB is great for overclocking.

I tested an "L" shaped 9500np, softmodded it to 9700np and overclocked it
after flashing to a warp 11 bios... got 15k in 3dmark2001se... if it's a
non-pro you should buy it.

That's the truth. As a matter of fact my 9800 Pro isn't much of an upgrade over
my overclocked 9500 Pro. In some games the difference is 2 FPS. In MDK2 my FPS
in 1024x768 increased a whole 14 FPS. This is w/a stock 9800 Pro.
