I have a work colleague who is using outlook express at home. When he sends
an email from his work pc using Outlook 2007 he does not receive any
attchents which have been sent with the e-mail.
He can however receive attachments sent by anyone else from ther work pc's
using outlook 2007.

Any ideas?

Have him Bcc himself to his work e-mail address besides using his home
e-mail address in the To field. Then have him look at the e-mail he
received at work (that he sent from work). Is the attachment there?

Is your colleague using Outlook's default Rich Text Format? Have him change
to plain text or HTML to see if that resolves the problem.

Rich Text format is specific to Outlook so non-Outlook clients (this
includes Outlook Express) may not be able to read it correctly. This means
attachments may even be stripped out.
