Hi,

Im using Outlook 2000. I noticed when attaching files in email, the files
appear as icons in the text area. When receiving email from other users,
their attachments may appear as icons or simply as a 'drop-down' list.

How do I change appearance of the attachments from the icons to 'drop-down'
list?

Best regards,
Macy Brown

Hello Macy,
Please change your mail format to plain text or HTML. Rich Text format
places the attachment in the body of the email.
Changing your format is a good idea anyway, non-Outlook users have
difficulty reading Rich Text and also may not always receive your
attachments. Rich Text format is specific to Outlook so other email clients
may not read it well, if at all.
