Attachments in Outlook 2007

I am running Outlook 2007 as a stand alone program with no Exchange Server.
In prior versions of Outlook I used an add-in that allowed me to receive
potentially dangerous attachments that were filtered by default. This add-in
apparently does not work in Outlook 2007. Does anyone have a work around for
this?

And what add-in would that have been?

It's called AttachmentOptions published by Slovak Technical Services. It
creates a Attachment Tab under the Tools menu which allows you to select
which file extensions to allow.
