attachment removed

I often receive emails that have had the email attachment removed, but there
is no information bar that says Windows or McAfee has removed it. The
attachment is simply gone. I have emailed myself an attachment and I receive
it. Others cannot send me one. I have turned off McAfee temporarily and
Windows mail security to test if I can receive attachments, to no avail. Any
suggestions? (Note, these are MS Office attachments, like Words/Excel,
certainly not high risk files)

Thanks

If the people sending you attachments are using Outlook's RTF format,
you will not be able to see the attachment. Outlook senders must use
HTML or plain text when sending to a non-Outlook recipient.

Gary, that was awesome. THANK YOU. I had hoped it wasn't my server blocking
it, or my anti-virus, or worse Windows. Gold star for you!!
