Attached photo problem

Hello,
I'm using OE 6 and XP. When I attach a photo to an email, when received, the
image is included in the body of the email and as an attachment. In options I
unchecked send picture with message and there is no change. Files attached
are .jpg saved in Photoshop. Can this be changed so the photos are not
included in the body of the email?
Thanks in advance.

After furious head scratching, adman asked:
