attached pdf file

When I try to open attached pdf file from outlook, I get a message "The selected file is not a valid Microsoft Office Document Imaging file". I was able to open it by doing save as first, But I need to be able to open it directly from attachment
I have Acrobat 6.0. I have tried remove the Acrobat and reinstalled it and still doesn't open.

Have you updated Acrobat to 6.01?

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal

File associations (see "Help") see messed up. See "help" about how to
fix and make Adobe Acrobat the default program for PDF file.

Meantime, save the file, and open directly in Acrobat.
