Attach File to Outlook Message Form

Please excuse my ignorance on VBA - I'm a newbie to this.
I am trying to customize the Outlook email message form
(the one with multiple tabs/sheets) for routing to several
recipients so that I can send an attached file for their
review. Everything else works but when I try to run the
form, I don't have access to the paperclip icon (attach
file). My form must have this capability to be at all
useful. I don't know if it's a server security issue or
it's not a feature of modifying the default multi-tab
message form. Please help. I've looked all over the web
for answers to this and have been stumped for a long time
now. I'm not a programmer but very computer savvy
(software and hardware). Thanks a bunch in advance!

The large message body control must be present and visible on the form in
order for the user to be able to attach files. If you removed it, you'll
have to add it back. Drag the Message property from the Field Chooser.

Custom Outlook message forms have nothing to do with VBA, BTW.

FYI, there is a separate newsgroup for Outlook forms issues --
microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms.

Thanks, Sue. I ordered your book today and found the
other discussion group and realized that you had already
answered this question there. Sorry to have bothered you.
I have a somewhat related question back
however...My "message" control contains my name, address,
custom signature" which I don't want on my form. I have
disable them under "Options" menu for mail format and I
have disabled using Word as my editor when working on this
form. Any way to prevent my personal info being displayed
when I drag the "message" control onto my form? Thanks so
much! :)

Sounds like you were designing this form before you disabled the signature.
Run the form, delete that information, then publish the form.

Thanks again, Sue. I can hardly wait until the book
arrives. Our organization needs these forms.
