attach a web link to an e-mail

In Gary <[email protected]> had this to say:

My reply is at the bottom of your sent message:
How do I attach a web link to an e-mail to send to a friend??

Highlight the address from the address bar and paste it as text into the
email. It's the best way as it avoids sending the link as an attachment
which might be filtered out.

Gary the easiest way to attach a web link is first click on the address with
the mouse (it will highlite the complete address) - press ctrl-and C
simultaneously - then move back to your outgoing message - touch the point
you'd like the address to be with a click of the mouse and press ctrl- and V
again simultaneously. the address will be embedded into your message. To
check it simply touch somewhere on the web address with the opposite button
scroll down to "properties" - touch it and you'll see the hyperlink.
All the best, John

start a normal email then type in the http: address within the body of the
email. Press Enter, it will turn into a hyperlink. When you friend opens
the message he just clicks the link the browser will open and go to the
site. You don't need to attach anything.
