Oded Dror

Hi there,

I'm using 300Watt power supply
XP Pro SP2
Samsung 21.3T LCD monitor
ATI x1300 512MB AGP with power cord

which replaced the 9200SE 128MB

I installed the card and the software with no problem
But from some time (every few min) under the mouse cursor small pink garbage
characters
Or on the monitor I have short two green lines on and off when I hit refresh
Also when I watching a video WMP 11.0 I notice that the monitor accumulate
green and pink lines

It want happened with the old card

How do I fix this?

Thanks,
Oded Dror

Perhaps the PSU is not powerful enough - I would try at least a modern
350 W PSU of a good brand (Antec...).

Mine works fine using a oem 300w PSU with the x1300pro and two other pci cards installed. But
it is a pcie version and does not have a external power connector.

I could swear it was the ATI knowledge base that I read something about the
2 line issue so it might be worth checking there too.
