ATI X1000-series and Crossfire still MIA

Checked with Newegg just now. No sign of any of the subject
video-cards or motherboards.

The ATi stock price (ticker: ATYT) has now slumped back to its Monday
level. Word has probably got out about the new product no-shows. Some
insiders must have had a $$-field-day with the Wednesday morning >10%
stock-price opening-bell jump after the paper-launch on Tuesday and
the upbeat earnings report on Wednesday morning before the market
opened. Maybe another stock-holder lawsuit re stock-price
manipulation by the company, besides the two already pending ??
Recent (non-)events might add some "behavior" ammunition to the
currently-pending cases.

Maybe so but let's have no difficulty swallowing the idea that they're a
bunch of corrupt potheads. After all, would any non-meth user actually
allow "software" like Multimedia Center to be shipped?

It's probably why I instinctively avoid AIW products like the plague. After
the stuff I saw with the Voodoo3 3500TV, I will never get a combo card
again.
