Hercules is Se card! mean, only128bit mem(apposed to 256bit), 128mb vs
256mb, And Se is clocked slower than PRO.

Define "winner". The SE wins on price, the Pro wins on performance.

Dont forget that some 9800SE's can be turned into 9800Pro's - at least as
far as enabling the extra pipelines goes. Depends on the board you get -
theres a list on the net of boards that can have a 256-bit memory bus.

If its the right one - get the 9800SE and just softmod it to a 9800pro.

can't give you comparison, but I like my Gigabyte 9800Pro 256. clocking
around 395/395 w/o problem. got a deal on it for 300$ US right before XT
series came out.

No, it DOES have 256 bit mem, but only 4 out of 8 pipelines. Also the clock
is (in general....) the same.

Ok, my bad :)
But besides 4 pipelines should be good enough, if you're on a tight budget.
You may get something better for 250Euro anyway. Even a 9800se but made by
saphire is better . Hercules cards are good and nice ( i'm using one myself)
, but don't overclock so good.

Your choice..
