The highly anticipated X1000 series was launched yesterday by ATI, but already doubts are beginning to surface concerning the availability of the cards. The first to be released is the X1600 XL, which was released yesterday. The X1800 XT card is due to be released in early November and the X1600 XT in late November. However, despite the fact that the X1600 XL has already been released, it is proving difficult to get your hands on one.
It is hoped that the technical advancments this new series brings will compensate for the initial lack of availability.
