ATI All-In-Wonder VE - No sound on vid capture

David

I've been trying to record a television program using my ATI
All-in-Wonder card but can't get any audio to record. The sounds
comes through fine when I just watch the program normally, but when I
record I get nothing. Everything else is fine, it is just the audio.

I'm using the standard cable input to the tv-tuner card, which goes to
the line-in on the back of my computer.

It has worked in the past and I can't think of anything I have
changed.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I had a similar problem, though mine was with a new installation (I mean a
brand new home built box.

THe resolution in my case was to install the latest video and capture drivers,
v 8.9.

It's been argued that the sequence of de-installing and reinstalling is
important. I'm not sure but the instructions at

http://mirror.ati.com/support/drive...prod=productsXPdriver&submit.x=12&submit.y=10

worked for me.
