ATI AIW on Soyo motherboard installation

ALL-IN-WONDER 128 PRO PCI, Windows XP Installation, Soyo SY-K7ADA
v1.0, 256mb RAM

I cannot install Windows XP with my ALL-IN-WONDER 128 PRO PCI on my
Soyo SY-K7ADA v1.0 motherboard. During Windows XP installation the
screen turns black with only a small green dot in the upper left hand
corner. I already installed the lates BIOS upgrade from the Soyo web
page (dated: 2002-06-03). I tried the following:

* installation with old graphic card (no problems), downloading latest
ATI XP drivers, turn system off, switching card to ATI AIW, start
system again in safe or vga mode => again black screen with green dot.

* doing clean Windows ME install with ATI AIW card inserted (no
problems)

G'day mate you just answered your own question in the
first line. "PCI" I have the same problems with my
4000xt and you know what????it's a PCI card too. fix...
go to agp if you can as windows xp seems to hate pci
cards..don't know why????
