Ati 9800 pro problem

Hi guys,
I have a P IV 3.2, original Intel 865GBF mobo, and 256
RAM, and an ATI 9800 Pro 128mb. My problem is that my pc
will boot fine upto the desktop, but when I try to play
any game (Unreal Tournament 2004, Madden 2003, NBA Live
2003, and Emperor Rise of the middle kingdom, and Il-2)
my computer restarts. Now, I read that I needed a bigger
power supply, so I got a 400W power supply. I went and
got it. I still have the problem. I have tried all
different settings on the control centre such as 4x and
8x and different levels of hardware acc. I have also run
the memory tests from microsoft.

Also, I have upgraded the ATI drivers from the site to
the latest ones, and changed OS from XP(sp1) to 2000. All
to no avail. My system will run fine up to the desktop,
but if I start a game, it will restart. I have also
tried turning off the HT. I have the latest catalyst
drivers and the latest motherboard bios versions.

If anybody can help me out, I would really appreciate it.

Spend $50 and buy enough RAM. I suggest an 512 added to
your 256.
