ATA to SATA

Hi,
I have just bought a new computer and want to install my old computers hard
drive into it. The problem that I have is that the new computer has SATA and
the old one PATA. The MB has plenty of space for extra SATA connections but
nothing for an old ATA drive. Can I get a cable that converts to SATA?
Cheers

How many optical [CD or DVD} drives do you have? You can
temporarily connect the old drive as a slave and copy the
files to you new SATA drive. If you have only one optical
drive, just install the old drive, if the 40 pin, 80
conductor cable has two connectors [or buy a new cable.]

If you have the PCI slots, you can add an PATA card.

You can Google for EIDE/PATA convert SATA
