ATA-host to SATA-drive chips?

Adapters that enable the use of ATA drives in SATA controllers are
rather common. Less common, I think, are adapters that do the conversion
to the other direction.
Which IC-manufacturers produce chips, that convert ATA bus for SATA-drives?
