You didn't read the whole thread, If you did you would have seen that I indicated about
48bit LBA very early on and I also suggested the drive be disconnect until Win2K SP4 and all
other patches are installed.

| No no no. You guys are all over the place here. OP's problem is that Win
| 2000 does not support LBA until SP 3. He is installing his large drive
| prematurely and when SP 4 downloader goes to use it data is being corrupted.
| Best bet now, IMHO, is to download SP 4 network ver, save it offline,
| disconnect his large drive and start over. Install Win 2000, update to SP
| 4, make LBA registry change and then install and partition the large drive.
