asus 9600xt vcore problem

my 9600xt/tvd is saying through smartdoctor that:
"VGA chipset isn't supplied with stabilized voltage."
Can someone explain exactly what that means and if you happen to know a
remedy. Under smart doctor the vcore is reading at 1.28. The engine is at
499 MHz, the Memory is set to 594 MHz. I believe the vcore should be up
around 1.6.

windows xp sp1
amd 2100+

The AGP 4x/8x voltage is normally 1,5v. You one is 1.28 volt...when
not running 3d. So yes the card doesn't gets enough juice!

I guess that your PSU it weak or your motherboard has problems
providing 1,5volt. But first look at your PSU!

Ok today i decided to go back to the way it was. so i uninstalled the card &
drivers then put it back in exactly as it was when i first got it (original
cd drivers & software), and whapam!! it works fine. no vcore problems etc
etc. It's just like the time my hard drive told me it was going to die
everytime i booted up and to fix it i bought a new power bar. computers go
figure.
thanks all
