Associating files - eg powerpoint

Greetings.

I have had some trouble associating ppt and other file types. My aim is to
open the ppt -file from the browser link in Powerpoint (not in IE).
The help says : By associating a file type with a program, you specify which
program you want to use when opening a specific type of file from within
FrontPage.
Tools - Options - Configure Editors tab - New Extension - ppt - Editors list
- Powerpoint - Make Default.

Am I missing something ?

PS Frontpage 2003 and IE6.0 SP2

That only configures PPT as an editor for PPT files from w/i FP
- not for the browser

You can only change your PC to open MSO files in their program instead of the browser
