assigning a default value that is the same as the previous record

On a form where one field dosent change too often (But can at any time) - I
want the default value to be whatever was entered in the previous record of
the queried data set...

in other words, the [CounselorName] should default be what ever the previous
record is in that subform query is... if for [ClientNo] 001 the Counselor is
normaly John then I want John to be the default value - which is gotten by
looking at the previous entry(if you change the counselor to Betty, then
bettey becomes the new default value based on the previous entry of betty).
there is a table with all counselor names that links to the combobox for the
form
