Aspect Ratio Problem

Hello,

I have an AVI video that is 240x320 in size (tall, not wide). When I import
it in to Windows Moviemaker in XP it resizes the video to 320x240, thus
stretching the picture out of proportion.

Try as I might, I cannot find a way to make Moviemaker turn my AVI into a
WMV (all I want to do, so I can post it on the web) but keep the obscure
aspect ratio and not mess up my movie!

I have even tried other software, like STOIK Video Converter, which converts
directly from AVI to WMV - but even that creates WMV files that are 320x240,
even with an input video in 240x320 format.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for what I need to do? Help!

Thanks,
D.

See the Saving Movies... Custom WMV Profiles page of my website. Be sure to
read the notes about playback in Windows Media Player versus Internet
Explorer.
