We're finishing up our home made asp.net based CMS that we've been working
on for a year or so.
The content is mainly in the SQL database in a variety of tables. The rest
is in document formate (word/PDF).
I've been informed that we have a bit of a budget to get a search
application. I'd like to know if anyone has any hands-on experience with a
..net based web site search tool and if they'd have any suggestions?
The key for us, I think, is that we need a tool that will index the site
from the end-user's perspective, instead of just diving into the SQL tables
(which really wouldn't have any context outside of the front end interface).
In the past, I've looked at MondoSearch, and it looked good. Anything else
along those lines? Ideally under the 10k price?
