Asking for help again, please. Scanner and Camera Wizard problem

I'm running XP SP2. When attempting to download pictures from my camera,
the Scanner and Camera Wizard starts as it should. Window #1 asks you to
"Type a name for this group of pictures" and window #2 says to "Choose a
place to save this group of pictures." In the past, when I would supply a
name in Window #1, it would automatically change in Window #2. Recently, I
have to actually create a new folder manually first within My Pictures and
then enter the
name of the new folder in both windows 1 and 2.

Can someone please help me reset the wizard so all I have to do is type the
folder name in window 1 (such as XYZ) and have the wizard automatically
change window 2 (such as My Pictures\XYZ). This is the way it always worked
before. When it works properly, the wizard will also automatically create
the XYZ folder within My Pictures for me. I have done everything I can
think of and still can't get it to work properly. Thank you very much for
your help.

I can't help ya there but talking never hurt didi it?

I went thru all the steps like you said and mine changed automatically>
It would seem yers has changed somehow?
As I looked the situation over , there wasn;t any way I can see to get to
that wizard?
Can suggest two things.
disconnect yer camera, uninstall it in control panel's Add& remove programs?
Then reinstall it to see if that hhelps??
If not Use yer help and support , System Restore and restore back to before
the probl;em started?
If you introduced the change adding or deleting programs?
system restorwe will reset back to befor you did that and all should work as
it did before?
...
Obviously anything added after that time won't be on yer system
unless you uninstall that system restore point and pick another

Hope this helps???
