Archiving folders in Outlook 2002

I tried using the Archive feature of Outlook against a folder (and its
subfolders). Outlook created the archive (mirroring all the subfolder
names), but there were no items moved to the them. I'd requested anything
older than 01/01/2001 be archived, but nothing got moved to the archive. I
have items from 2000 in the folders to be archived, so I'm not sure why it's
not working.
The items I want to archive are all emails. They have a received date of
2000 so I thought those would get moved to the archive.
Am I doing something wrong?

Archiving looks to the modified date, have these emails been moved recently!
To check the modified date you will need to use the Field Chooser and drag
the Modified Date field to a column heading, the Field Chooser is a button
on the Advanced Toolbar.

Thanks Noel. Good answer! I have re-organised my mail folders many times so
the modified date is different from the received date.
Is there a way to reset the modified date to the received date so I can
re-run the archive? Will I have to manually archive those emails?
Thanks
Mike

Sorry but I don't believe there is a way to reset the modified date (unless
someone knows how to do it with code), and yes the only way would be to run
a manual archive.

I was afraid you might say that!
Again Noel, thanks for your help.
