I have a machine (XP Home) with an application that was failing
in various ways. In the past when this has happened reinstallation
fixed the problem. But this time when I went to the Add/Remove
Program (logged in as admin), the application does not appear in
the list of installed programs.

The program is installed because it is in the Programs menu and it runs
when I start it.

It would be interesting to know how this could happen but what
I really need to know is what to do about it. How do I uninstall
a program that is not in Add/Remove Program?

The app has no uninstall option among it's menu items and neither
does it's install disk.

Thanks,
Billy

You don't say what the program is, so any recommendations have to be sort
of generic.

Ditto that. There are many resolutions to offer, but more info is needed.

restore the uninstall option.

The program is Peachtree Complete Accounting 2004.
