Application Developed in Access 2002 can't be used with Access 2003

I have an Access application that has been developed on
and an installation created with Access 2002 Developer
Edition.

Users with Office 2003 (including Access) installed
are unable to install the application. It gives an error
message saying - "Needs Access 2002".

Is there some way round this or have I got to go buy
2003 Developer Edition.... :-(

Many thanks,
Roy

I don't know anything internal that would cause that
error. Are you sure there isn't something in your code
that checks to see what version of Access is installed?

Is the delivered application an .mde or .ade?

I think that an mde or ade file can only run under the same level of application
it was created in.

Chris/John,
Many thanks for your responses.

The delivered application is an mdb.

We actually, what is delivered is a package
of stuff for installation.

The "package" is put together using the
Package & Deployment Wizard that comes
with Office Developer 2002.

The resulting package consists of....
Application.cab, Setup.lst, setup.exe...
and a whole host of support files like
ocx, dll, bmp, ddf, inf files etc.
Oh - and the release note.

During installation on a system with
Office 2003 installed I get the following error....

This is during the installation, before my code ever
gets to run.

Many thanks for your help.
