I have a Dell Dimensioin 8300 Pentium 4 running at 3.20ghz. I have just
very recently bought an Apple I-Pod and have been trying to connect it to
my windows PC. Unfortunatly the connections that should allow the Apple to
connect to my compter are to small. I have USB 2.0 in my hard disk but the
Apple connector does not fit, even though in the actual documentation it
says that you can fit it to USB 2.0. I would like to know if there is
anyway i could get around this.

I am not sure if there is something else that i need to connect as well.

Any help would be extremely appreciated.

My son has an I-pod and he had to buy a firewire card to fit in the PC to
connect it and download the music. Be warned we had loads of trouble and had
to send the first I-pod back because it went wrong. Eventually got it
working well and he is really happy with it now.
