Apparent Presentaion Titl

I have used a previously saved presentation and modified the contents. There
appears to be a title in the upper right hand corner of that presentation.
The apparent title does not exist in any text boxes, headers, slide masters,
etc. and I can't click on it to edit it. I want to remove the text as it
refers to the other presentation???? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I don't understand. If it doesn't appear on a slide master, then it must
appear on the individual slide. (Or maybe slide layout, if you're using PPT
2007.) Or it might be in the footer placeholder and turned on in View |
Header and Footer.

Is it possible that the text is part of the image that is being used for the
background for the master? Is the background of the master a single graphic?
Or is it a graphic laid over top of the background of the slide?

Is something that's showing up just when you print it? Sometimes I see white
text carried over from a presentation with a dark background--not visible
against a white background, but turns up when printing in black and white.
And it can be hard to grab the text box to delete it because it's not
visible. Even sometimes dragging the mouse around where I think it is
doesn't work really well because the text box can be a lot bigger than I
think it is.

I usually try a Select>All to see how big the text box is (you can do this
in the master as well). Sometimes that helps me delete it. Other times,
it's easier going to black and white view and deleting it from there.

Well, none of those things worked. I did find that if I added a new slide
master and applied a new design template the "title" disappeared.
Unfortunately, my boss, didn't like the remainder of the formatting and
didn't want to change it, so he said to just leave the "title" in the
presentation. Does that information help any?
