anyone know of a good, free partition manager?

I am both using Xp and win 98 and often have to switch. Xp is on an NTFS
partition, while 98 is on FAT 32. I was told it's too late to install a
partition manager after I already have my NTFS installed, but I still hope I
can find a partition manager which can be safely installed and will keep my
existing two partitions with two operating systems intact.
Anyone know of a free, safe partition manager, that can be installed without
loosing data?

Are you thinking of a partition manager (i.e. a tool that lets you
resize your partitions) or of a boot manager (i.e. a tool that lets
you select which partition to boot from)?

If it is the latter then XOSL will do the job very nicely. You
can it install non-destructively on the Win98 partition. However,
it won't do you much good because your system is already
cast in concrete. It won't offer you anything that the native
Windows boot manager does not already offer. It only shines
when you use it right from the beginning.

I was looking for a boot manager. After I posted the message I realised I
didn't specify exactly. I downloaded in the meantime OSL2000 and it instaled
itself safely and booted into XP using it. So I'm all happy.
I will check out XOSL
