As with Defender Updates it is unlikely they will come out before 11:30am
PST, though it has happen a couple of times.
Based on Past experience I would say start checking about 12:00
When you are able to download the MSMSRT that's a good sign that it's close.

That's interesting. I have the same set up as you (XP Pro, IE6) and only
got one update (KB980830) + 3 Office 2007 ones.
The difference is.... I have now installed SP3 (RC2 'Refresh')

if you are running vbscript.dll & jscript.dll version 5.7.0.5730
you will not see this update
it is in c:/windows/system32
if you want to check it
and it seems a whole lot of people who see this update cannot do it

those who have 5.7 will not see the update.

That's the only one that failed on here, all the other six installed without
a problem, did have to do a reboot. I'm not worried about the missing one as
I never use Outlook anyway. <g>
