Any Recommendations on a Color Laser Printer?

I wonder if anyone has a color laser printer that they really like?

I'd be interested to know the make and model. Also, any thoughts about
why you like this printer would be helpful.

(In particular, we have a small office that prints about 50 pages with
some color content per day. We would prefer a printer in the sub-$800
range, but of course with printers the real cost is in
maintenance/cartridges, etc. So, we'd be willing to pay a bit more for
lower maintenance costs.)

In spite of our particular needs, please feel free to share your
thoughts & recommendations even if they don't match our criteria.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

It would seem a networked machine would make sense, depending how many
machines are involved. A quick calculation suggests between 10-15000
pages a year, so it would take a few years to recoup the running cost
savings of a more expensive machine. So, above your price point is the
Kyocera Fs-C5020N. I've had samples for the previous model, which were
quite decent, plus these machines seem to be well built. Alternatively,
the C5xxx series from OKI. For running costs I would recommend avoiding
the low cost basis models.

I highly recommend the Brother MFC-9420. Does 31 ppm B/W and 8 ppm color
and is networked.

Yes, after using my OkiData C5150n for about 6 months I can honestly say
this is the printer I will keep and use for many years.
A: Very good color, Pretty decent photos
B: Straight paper path for heavy papers and cardstock
C: Single pass instead of four pass
D: Beatifull text even on small fonts
E: built in networking
F: Really fast, both monochrome and color
G: Easy to refill if you desire
H: Built for heavy use, not a cheap low end model
I: Easy to use And setup, Menus have all the options you will ever need
J: Very comprehensive Manual when printed
K: I could go on and on but I just love every feature of this machine, It
cost me $ 700.00 CDN but over a few years it will be cheap as I know When I
hit PRINT it does just that with no fuss or bother.
OKI emailed me a few days ago as a 6 month followup to make sure I was happy
with it, Pretty decent of them.
I only had occaision to call them once with a few questions on network
setup, I was put in touch with a Jovial Tech within 3 minutes and he was
able to give me the answers immediatly, I was really impressed with his
support and knowledge.

Would I Buy OKI again? Absuolutly.

In addition to Timothy's comments I suggest that you look at a printer that
allows the user to replace the fuser, transfer belt (if that model uses one) as
well as the drum(s) and toner, that way you will save labour costs when these
parts need replacing which they will. Also look at the page count for each of
these parts and the cost. This equation varies enormously printer to printer.
