Anyone know of a free Command line app that'll convert an .SNP file to a
PDF??

I found one or two, but they cost $$ ...

Arvin; Thanks --- that's the program I currently use (on A2K3 and A2K7).
But I thought it might be possible to do the same thing in a smaller
footprint. I have Access create the snp --- so I want something a bit
"smaller" to just make the pdf for me. I'll publish with the lebans code if
I can't find anything in the next 6 weeks. Thanks again ... bob h

I've looked into those options. But the application must run on A2K3 as
well. The process (internally) is that I create MANY reports (one for each
"account"), convert each to a PDF (via a SNP), and then email each one to
the account holder. Internally, this entire process executes by the user
clicking a single button and needs to run without further user intervention
until complete. So I need something that'll not put up any prompts (so long
as there are no errors). The lebans code works great for this (along with
other code I got for emailing). I just wanted something similar to the
lebans code but smaller. A command line process would be preferred, but not
an absolute. But I haven't found a free one yet! That's the issue ... it
needs to be free. The application I develop is distributed free, and there
are over 1,000 users right now. So I need something I can embed in the
application without licensing issues and without costing me (or my clients)
anything. bob.

I doubt you'll ever find any other than Lebans as there is a
relatively small market for such conversion tools.

I'm not sure what could be a smaller footprint than using Stephen's
drop in code and his two DLLs.

And, fortunately for us, the ROI that Stephen was seeking was in the
satisfaction of having accomplished a challenging task and the satisfaction
of helping others, not financial. Thanks, Stephen!
