any compatibility problems with radeon and amd / tyan motherboards ?

I was set to order a radeon 9700 today and the vendor told me
that ati cards do not play well with amd and tyan. Never heard
of this before. I have a tiger 2460 dualie running 2400+'s.
with a ti4200 in it right now running well..

So, are there any issues with the 9700 or 9800 and amd ?
long time nvidia user and looking to try ati out but don't want
any hassles

I'm using a Radeon 9800 Pro with my Tyan Thunder 2462 (dual AMD 2800+ MPs)
and haven't had a single problem (driver or otherwise). Just be sure your
PSU is up to the task, because the 9800 Pro will drain more power from an
already power hungry system.
