Neither Spybot Search & Destroy nor MSAS are antivirus programs and will
not be detected by Security Center. What antivirus program do you have
installed? Please post back the name, version, and whether your virus
subscription is current.

As Malke says, the programs you mention are not Anti Virus, only spyware
protection. Some machines have Norton bundled with them but if you cannot
locate this then you can try Grisofts AVG, and a freeware version resides at
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1. This program will co-exist hapilly with other
A/V software (and Security Centre recognises it) and you can always upgrade
to the pro version if you want (but you will have to pay)
