I am trying the microsoft antisyware beta 1. Everytime I
open it, windows installer says I am trying to
access "easy cd creator" and that I must use the cd. It
works if I exit out of the windows installer 2 times but
this is a hassel. Is this a problem that others have
encountered?

Yes.

This is a problem with an incomplete install of Easy CD creator, and the
Windows Installer.

If you have a CD source for Easy CD creator, and are still using the
application, the best course of action is to reinstall, or do a repair
install, of that application. You may also need to go to (somebody's--not
sure what name is presently the owner of that app!) website and get updates
to bring what you have current.

If you no longer use Easy CD creator, you can use the Windows Installer
Cleanup tool to remove the installer information for it:

That should fix your problem.
